"Very satisfied with my order of sfoglia cake, very carefully decorated and the sfoglia existed beyond my expectations, made mostly with delicious sponge cake and a phenomenal custard that was to die for. Being Italian myself I was not expecting an authentic real Italian bakery close to home, and I will be back with many more in the near future."

"We have eaten here a number of times and have always had a great meal. The servers are very friendly without being intrusive during your meal, the music is actually background so you can enjoy it and still carry on a conversation without yelling to be heard. The food is very tasty and always hot. All around great place to relax and enjoy a great meal."

We had our kids communion/confirmation over the weekend and the food was absolutely outstanding from the fish to the pasta to the meat. "Driving north to the cottage and pulled over in Barrie for lunch. Saw the Italian eatery and thought it would be just another lunch spot but man were we surprised! Exquisite and authentic Italian food. Had an amazing veal with eggplants as well as pasta! The service was awesome as well and what looked like the owners, gave us an extra helping of vegetables without asking. Awesome food!"

"This is only the 2nd time I have ever reviewed a restaurant online. It was incredible. The calamari was light and delicate, not heavily battered and rubbery. French onion soup was amazing. Service was exceptional and everyone smiled. I think we were asked how everything was at least 10 times. My two somewhat picky kids were asking when we could come back again before we were out the door. Thank you Italian Eatery, we no longer have to travel to Woodbridge to enjoy quality Italian cuisine."

It's Italian everything here, beer, wine, food, delicious desserts. Great line from owner of this place " We're not going to serve food here that we wouldn't eat ourselves". Now tables with umbrellas and chairs to relax outside, sweet. If I could I would give 6 stars."

"My family and I came in for dinner on Friday evening. Even though the restaurant was busy (obviously a popular spot), the staff were incredibly attentive and efficient. We were promptly seated and served the most amazing, not to mention complementary, parmesan-dusted bread appetizers - all I can say is WOW! I could have eaten the whole basket. I had a glass of wine within minutes which was very nice considering how busy they were. Our server, Kathryn, was like a breath of fresh air; her friendliness and professionalism did not go unnoticed. She made some great recommendations from the menu that we wouldn't have thought to order but absolutely loved! My kids were very happy with their Gnocchi and even happier with the dessert options - I recommend the cannoli, best I've ever had. Thanks for a great evening!"
